As promised, here is the first in a series of book recommendations about various Islamic and ecumenical topics.
Today, I will share with you my favorite English Qur’an books.

First, we start with the basic English-only translation that I use in almost all my Islam 101 classes — the translation by the Indian-born scholar and
activist, Maulana W. Khan.

Then, we have my favorite easy-to-read translation –though it is more expensive than Khan’s– the M.A.S. Abdel Haleem edition from Oxford Classics.
